CHARTERED SOCIETY OF PHYSIOTHERAPY
WORKFORCE DATA MODELLING TOOL

The Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) commissioned Allied Health Solutions (AHS) and Strategic Modelling, Analysis and Planning Ltd (SMAP) to undertake a Workforce Data Modelling (WDM) project on their behalf. The aim of the Workforce Data Modelling (WDM) project was to enable the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) to develop a more strategic approach to workforce planning, based on patient and population need. In addition the project planned to address the lack of robust data to support workforce planning of the physiotherapy workforce.

This aim was realised through the development of the WDM online tool which enables the user to understand the current and future UK physiotherapy workforce. The tool can be found at: http://www.csp.org.uk/workforcedata

HEALTH AND WELLBEING APPROACHES TO SUPPORT PEOPLE WITH LONG TERM CONDITIONS
A COMMISSIONING SUPPORT TOOL

The purpose of this commissioning support tool is to:

• Provide examples of different health and wellbeing approaches to support those with long term conditions.
• Enable those commissioning, providing and receiving healthcare services, to consider different ways of thinking about supporting those with long term conditions and the promotion of wellbeing.

This interactive tool includes:

• A downloadable health and wellbeing self-assessment commissioning checklist
• A principles and conceptual framework
• Statistics and data
• Economic evaluation of different health and wellbeing approaches, and what to consider as part of a local economic evaluation
• A range of approaches to health and wellbeing
• Useful links and resources.

BRITISH DIETETIC ASSOCIATION
COMMISSIONING TOOLKIT

The BDA commissioned AHS to develop a commissioning toolkit to be used by all members which included demonstrating the impact of dietetics across a range of clinical specialities in quality and economic terms.

DEVELOPMENT OF AN OUTCOME TOOL FOR THE BRITISH DIETETIC ASSOCIATION ONCOLOGY INTEREST GROUP

AHS were commissioned to develop an outcomes tool for oncology dietitians.
